What I did yesterday....

This will be long because I'm excited, lol. I went to the CHA Craft Supershow in Orlando!!!! It was so much fun. Exhausting, but fun. I can't imagine the people that went BOTH days. But there were lots of exhibitors and tons of peoples and lots of giveaways. Unfortunately, I didn't win a giveaway, but the two friends I was with did, both from Michaels. One friend won a $10 gift card. The other won a Fiskars gift pack (a paper trimmer, scissors, and a stamp set).
But I still feel like I won because I. GOT. THE. PAPERTREY. INK. EXCLUSIVE. CHA. SET!!! (Sorry...using Stephenie Meyer's method for emphasis, lol.) I also got two of their cute pink shopping bags (I went twice, lol), two of their pens, a ton of "To Do" notepads they were giving away with purchase (item #1: Visit www.papertreyink.com, lol) and they were giving away half-sheets of their Guidelines paper as well. Those are just the freebies. To get the exclusive set, you had to spend $100, which is NOT hard for me to do at Papertrey, especially since I've been holding out the past couple of months.
In addition to the exclusive set, Floral Fusion, I got:
  • Vintage Picnic
  • Vintage Picnic Sentiments
  • Bitty Blessings (a baby set)
  • In Bloom
  • Everday Button Bits (love buttons!)
  • Teacher's Apple
Between all the sentiments across all the sets, I'll should be set for a long time, which is good because I'm officially broke now. The only reason I was able to get so much is because my dear brother-in-law sent money for me to spend. Wasn't that sweet? Now, I have to start practicing with my Copics: In Bloom and Vintage Picnic are both singing for them. :-)
I also got some Papertrey cardstock in White, Pure Poppy, Vintage Cream, and Enchanted Evening (a new blue in their line).
I sat for two of their make & takes. This is the first one I did on the second day, which was actually their second of three for the day. There was no way I was waiting for the first one. They were six deep waiting for that one! In the picture above, you may recognize Michelle Wooderson and Heather Nichols on the left. I think the one on the far right is Debbie Olson. They are all Papertrey Design Team members. I saw Nichole Heady and Dawn McVey, but didn't get pictures of them. I hope there wasn't someone else I missed! Oh!!! I also met Ashley Newell of A New Design live and in person. She's so tiny! And sweet. Here is the card I made at this one:
I'll post the one I made using the exclusive set tomorrow or Tuesday.
Soooo tired today!!! :-)

Patriciad -- that's so funny! It truly is a small world. I hope you had as much fun as I did! :-)

I had a great time and I'm sure all my friends (the non-papercrafting ones anyway) are sooooo tired of hearing me blah blah blah about it. Oh well, too bad!! BTW, forgot to tell you yesterday I really enjoyed looking at your blog. I'll be back! I don't have one myself, but maybe one day if I can ever figure it out.

Gwen...I know, I know...if they could just have sets I don't like, I'd be good, but we know that won't happen. :-)
